Died at the residence in Logan of her dau. Caroline Watterson, 25 July
1894 Ann Owen Hobbs, dau. of Thomas and Ann Baker Owen. She was born 3April 1809 in Reading, Berkshire, England. She was left an orphan at the
age of 11 yrs., soon after went to France with a traveling family and was
there during the revolution. Married William Hobbs in Cheltenham,
Gloucester, Eng. in 1831; left a widow in 1847 with seven children,
Charles, Henry, William, James, Thomas, Caroline, and Mary Ann. She joinedthe Church with all her family in 1854; came to Utah in 1864; crossed the
plains in Capt. Murdock's company; has lived in Cache County ever since.She is the mother of 7 children, 42 gr.children, 52 gr. gr. children,
total 102.She has fought the fight and kept the faith and will come forth in the
morning of the first resurrection.
